MEET THE OWNER
Welcome! I'm Zoila Burgas, owner and founder of Zoila's Hair Design and Spa. My journey as a hair dresser began 27 years ago in my home country of Peru, where I worked over 10 years in the business. I traveled to Europe to expand my knowledge and to specialize in hair cuts and color through education from top professionals in the business. With my newly gained knowledge I was able to work in NYC for many years before opening Zoila's Hair Design and Spa 12 years ago.

Being in the business for 27 years taught me to learn techniques for different types of hair. This experience has allowed me to accommodate any client that comes to my salon. When a client comes to me with special requests, I trust my ability to go above and beyond. Keeping up with trends and continuing my education also helps me give my clients exactly what they want.
In 2018, I embarked on a new journey by creating a new cosmetic line, Zoila's Cosmetics. I wanted to give my clients a new service to complement their hair. My cosmetic line has given me the freedom to express myself and share my creativity with my clients.
